Part of our Addiction series, the subject of this photo is Control & Domination in relationships, an all too common problem that can affect men, women and children who are forced to suffer from both mental and physical abuse.

The photo shows a woman looking rather vulnerable backed up against a wall. She's holding a mirror in which you can see her partner, the abuser, holding a chain, the idea being that she is his prisoner.

Statistics show that around the world, at least one in three women have been beaten, coerced into sex or otherwise abused during their lifetime.
