This image is part of a series ‘All Dressed up with No Place to Go’. The series was conceived and created whilst living in a basement in a small-town in Norway. Whilst it is a self-portrait, the environment has in part inspired the character and the style.

The image is quietly intimate, verging on voyeuristic, the subject largely unaware of the camera. As we glimpse her private world, curiosity is aroused and questions asked about her existence. Innocence mingles with sexuality, introspection with loneliness.
